Lovely Friday

I've been busy..... And also lazy, which explains my hiatus. Been meaning to update this space but never got around to doing it till now. Even then, I am only here to post a couple of pictures taken last Friday during our cycling trip to Punggol Waterway Park. Again. Seriously in need of new places to go to to just chill and to work our cams.

Wilson was acting really immature that day. Every spot I stopped to take pictures, he would stop too and take photo of the exact same thing then compare it to mine saying how much more awesome his are. Ahahaha childish!!!!

I edited 'em on my phone using Camera360 before transferring back to my com so the picture quality has somewhat been compromised. Pictures are reposts from instagram so you guys would've probably seen it if you have followed me there!

I'll try to update more often from now on. So, till then!

Talks are cheap

Should I accept a smoker for a boyfriend? So many times I wanted to give up convincing W to stop smoking and just let him be but I simply cannot. We ended up quarreling and fighting a lot over the same issue over and over but is it worth it? Is it really time I stop trying?

Wanting to make more friends is such a bullshit excuse for smoking. Being a social smoker is the same. You either smoke or your don't. Simple. Influencing your friends to smoke, well hello fucker, you're a bad friend and you should feel bad.

I'm so sick and tired of him telling me that he's gonna stop for real this time, and then a week or a month later, guess who's picking up a cigarette? In W's case, a nice full pack to bring into the army. Classic case of the the boy who cried wolf.

It's so difficult to make him see where I'm coming from. My intentions are all good, some selfish, but good, nonetheless. But how do you change someone? Another individual with his own set of thinking, his own point of view. How do you make him stop if he don't want to?

My dad used to smoke. He suffered from throat cancer during his later years and died from that. Everybody is different, I know. But do I want to take the risk? No, I do not. I've seen how gambling, smoking and drinking have affected a family. I came from one such.

I do not know exactly the qualities I want in a boyfriend, a husband, but I know what I do not want. I do not want an excessive gambler, an alcoholic, or a smoker to become the father of my children.

ESS/Wk1

The 'Every Singaporean Son' soundtrack is on loop. It has been ringing in my head ever since I rewatched the ESS series on YouTube last night. This time, by myself, and I completed the whole series. I saw half of it previously with W but it didn't leave as much of an impact on me as it did ystd, probably b/c now that he has enlisted, everything seems realer and it's no longer 'just another film'.

There's actually something about this song that makes me sad. This is me now:

Hahahahahaha

BMT seems tough but I just know that at the end of the day my boy will be able to take away so much from that few weeks. It is not something that everybody will get to experience and I actually feel that the guys are pretty lucky to be able to go through it.

W appears to be doing pretty well in camp and knowing that makes everything easier for me as well. Days w/o him, any melt down moments, they just seem so trivial. I know that he's working very hard in Tekong and when school starts, I'm going to do the same (─‿‿─)ノ

From me to you

Few more minutes and you'd be awake and i'll be off to tekong. I gotta admit it, it's not gonna easy having to be away from you for most of my time during these 2 years. Nobody likes it but it's a phase that all guys have to go through. I do hope that our relationship does sail smoothly for the upcoming months to come. We've both invested much time and effort all these while and it'd be a waste if anything bad is to happen. It wasn't easy for the both of us to come this far in our relationship. We've managed to make it through all the ups and downs because we still believe in the love for each other. I know that i've not been treating you good at times but it wasn't intentional. I don't text you sweet nothings or kiss you as frequently as you'd like it because i want you to know that i mean it when i do it, instead of doing it for the sake of doing it. I know i spend alot of my time playing games, i can't help it. Now i regret not spending enough time with you. If anything unfavorable is to happen to us, just know that i've loved you all this while. Infatuation doesn't last, true love does. You are my first girlfriend, and i do hope that you stay the first and the last. Love you.
